As opposed to our Monday Overwatch update, Sundays Overwatch post and lets not forget Saturdays post, which focused mostly on Overwatch.
Well today, Blizzard posted a new Dev video detailing
1. why the PTR isnt on consoles and probably wont be (duh), and how Blizzard uses it,
2. they dont expect Sombra to ever be "a vicious assasin, even though shes in the offense category. We could see equally see her almost being in the support category. We see her more as a disrupter - a backline disrupter - than a frontline flanker or assassin."
3. the changes to Roadhogs hook are indented to both address Roadhog players who feel cheated when their hook drops players in the wrong place and Roadhog victims who feel like his hook is bullshit.

Sebelum melakukan flashing, backup terlebih dahulu file dan data anda. Karena saat flashing data-data anda akan terhapus.
1. Install Flashtool.exe di PC anda
2. Install Driver seperti biasa
3. Copy Firmware_Smartphone_Anda ke CUsersNama user.flashToolfirmwares
Contoh : Copy D6503_23.4.A.1.264_DE.ftf ke CUsersNama user.flashToolfirmwares
4. Buka Flashtool dan klik icon petir dan pilih flashmode (lihat di gambar)
5. Pilih Firmware_Smartphone_Anda dan klik flash. Tunggu sampai keluar popup dan matikan Xperia Z2 anda. Sebelum menyolokkan USB, tahan Volume - dan colok USB sambil menahan Volume (-) maka smartphone anda akan restart yang tanda nya sedang melakukan flashing.
6. Jika proses flashing selesai, hidupkan smartphone anda seperti biasa (saat pertama kali booting akan memakan waktu yang agak lama).
Selamat smartphone Sony Xperia anda sudah menggunakan Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 :D

So another day and another quick update on life with Natty. Yesterday I hit a new problem. Ubuntu kicked me out to the GDM login screen with no warning. Im not even sure what log to check to find out what went wrong there. But logging in again was no big deal. I also had something of an epiphany.
When I upgraded to 10.10 I was running MediaTomb. Which made the OS somewhat unstable. Removing MediaTomb and reinstalling it fixed the problem. So for the time being. Ive ditched MediaTomb. The improvements have been instantly felt. Boot ups no longer require the filesystem to be checked on every boot.
However I was also messing around with Kubuntu on a VirtualBox virtual machine. Im thinking maybe VirtualBox still has some issues with Ubuntu Natty. It seemed a bit slow at time. However that may be due to Boinc which I also have running in the back ground. Boinc is next on the hit list. I think I may confine it to a virtual machine. First though I need to figure out how to make a minimal Ubuntu installation disc.
The reason I was playing with Kubuntu was because Im thinking of ditching Unity and Gnome altogether and moving wholesale to Kubuntu. Which raised a question in my mind. Why arent Canonical putting all their efforts into Kubuntu? KDE already does more or less everything Canonical are developping for the Unity interface. Not only that but all the effects and features of KDE are integrated with the desktop environment already. Certainly theres room for improvement. But so far as i can see. Everything Unity offers is already there in KDE. It seems to me KDE is a much better launchpad for Canonical than Gnome will ever be.

Well another day and more problems.
Firefox crashes constantly. Why is this Canonicals fault? Well Ubuntu doesnt come with vanilla flavoured Firefox. It comes with integrated Ubuntufied Firefox. Which might I also note didnt update to revoke DigiNotar security certificates. I had to remove them manually.
Any extended period on in activity seems to kill Ubuntu. It wont even shut down or reboot. I keep having to press the power button to force the whole machine to shut down. Not good.
All I can say is October is feeling like its a really really long way off. The silver lining is I discovered ALT+F2 actually does still work. I think Ive going to have to keep a better diary of problems I encounter.

Seperti janji saya kemarin, pada artikel Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact dan Z3 Resmi Mendapatkan Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 (23.5.A.0.570) saya akan membuatkan sebuah artikel untuk anda yang ingin mengupdate smartphone Sony Xperia Z2 kesayangan anda ke Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 terbaru yang sangat trend untuk saat ini.
Untuk masalah update operasi sistem Android ke Marshmallow sebenarnya ada 2 cara yang bisa anda lakukan, yaitu :
1. Online. Cara ini adalah cara yang paling simple. Anda hanya perlu ke Setting -> About Phone -> Update Software atau mengupdate nya melalui Sony PC Companion. Tetapi ada beberapa user Sony Xperia Z2 yang tidak mendapatkan update ke Android Marshmallow, saya juga tidak tau apa alasannya. Tetapi untuk anda yang sudah melakukan rooting kepada Sony Xperia Z2, cara online sangat tidak dianjurkan karena tidak bisa menginstall firmware nya.
2. Offline. Cara ini bisa dibilang sedikit rumit daripada Online, tetapi jika anda belajar pasti akan terasa sangat mudah. Untuk anda yang belum mendapatkan update Android Marshmallow atau sudah melakukan rooting, jangan berkecil hati karena anda masih bisa mencicipi Android Marshmallow.
Kita disini akan membicarakan update Android Marshmallow di Sony Xperia Z2 D6503 dengan cara Offline. Berikut adalah tutorialnya
Saya TIDAK Bertanggung Jawab Jika Smartphone Anda Mengalami Hardbrick atau Semacamnya. Ikutilah tutorial ini dengan benar agar tidak terjadi masalah pada smartphone anda dan ingat DWYOR!
Oke, anda sudah membaca pesan saya diatas, jadi saya tidak bertanggung jawab atas kerusakan pada smartphone anda. Jika anda mengikuti tutorial ini dengan baik dan benar, saya JAMIN tidak ada masalah karena saya sudah mencobanya.
A. Android Marshmallow Non-root
Untuk Android Marshmallow Non-root, cocok untuk anda yang tidak menginginkan smartphone anda dalam keadaan ter-root. Firmware ini masih sangat baru, jadi belum di mod atau sebagainya.
Bahan-bahan :
1. Firmware Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 (23.5.A.0.570)
2. Flashtool
3. Driver
Tutorial :
1. Install Flashtool.exe di PC anda.
2. Install Driver seperti biasa.
3. Copy D6503_23.4.A.1.264_DE.ftf ke CUsersNama user.flashToolfirmwares
4. Buka Flashtool dan kemudian klik icon petir dan pilih flashmode (lihat di gambar)

Untuk Android Marshmallow Pre-root, cocok untuk anda yang ingin menginstall mod karena sudah rooted. Cara ini tidak menggunakan Flashtool lagi, karena kita akan menginstall nya lewat recovery.
Syarat-syarat :
1. Sony Xperia Z2 anda sudah dalam keadaan rooted, terinstall Busybox dan sudah menginstall recovery
2. USB Debugging dan Unknown Sources sudah dicentang
3. Mengerti bagaimana cara ke recovery, wipe, dll
Bahan-bahan :
1. Marshmallow.zip
2. Bootloop FIX.zip
3. Jika anda menginstall Xposed Framework, uninstall terlebih dahulu atau jika anda tidak bisa, anda bisa ke thread xda
Tutorial :
1. Extract Marshmallow.zip sampai mendapatkan file ini : flashable.zip, byeselinux_flashable.zip, RICDefeat.zip, Z2_MM_TWRP
2. Copy semua file yang anda extract ke Micro SD anda termasuk Bootloop FIX.zip. Untuk Z2_MM_TWRP jangan di copy biarkan saja di PC anda.
3. Pergi ke recovery dan lakukan Factory Reset. Sesudah itu install file ini secara BERURUTAN :
xposed-uninstaller-********-arm.zip (Jika anda menginstall Xposed Framework) flashable.zip -> byeselinux_flashable.zip -> RICDefeat.zip -> BOOTLOOP FIX.zip
4. Jika anda sudah selesai menginstall file diatas secara berurutan, selanjutnya adalah Wipe Cache dan Dalvik dan Reboot
5. Saat anda sudah berada di Home Screen, install Busybox dan colokkan USB ke Xperia Z2 anda (USB Debugging di centang) dan jalankan install.bat dari folder Z2_MM_Recovery
6. Xperia Z2 anda akan reboot secara otomatis dan anda sudah berhasil menginstall recovery.
Selamat Sony Xperia Z2 anda sudah menggunakan Android Marshmallow dan sudah rooted + install recovery. Bagaimana? Sangat mudah bukan. Jika anda hanya melihat saja pasti akan terasa sangat sulit, tetapi jika anda sudah mencoba nya pasti akan terasa sangat mudah.
Jika ada tahap yang belum anda paham, jangan malu untuk bertanya. Karena jika anda malu bisa-bisa terjadi hal yang tidak kita inginkan.

1. Marshmallow.zip
2. Bootloop FIX.zip
3. Jika anda menginstall Xposed Framework, uninstall terlebih dahulu atau jika anda tidak bisa, anda bisa ke thread xda
Tutorial :
1. Extract Marshmallow.zip sampai mendapatkan file ini : flashable.zip, byeselinux_flashable.zip, RICDefeat.zip, Z2_MM_TWRP
2. Copy semua file yang anda extract ke Micro SD anda termasuk Bootloop FIX.zip. Untuk Z2_MM_TWRP jangan di copy biarkan saja di PC anda.
3. Pergi ke recovery dan lakukan Factory Reset. Sesudah itu install file ini secara BERURUTAN :
xposed-uninstaller-********-arm.zip (Jika anda menginstall Xposed Framework) flashable.zip -> byeselinux_flashable.zip -> RICDefeat.zip -> BOOTLOOP FIX.zip
4. Jika anda sudah selesai menginstall file diatas secara berurutan, selanjutnya adalah Wipe Cache dan Dalvik dan Reboot
5. Saat anda sudah berada di Home Screen, install Busybox dan colokkan USB ke Xperia Z2 anda (USB Debugging di centang) dan jalankan install.bat dari folder Z2_MM_Recovery
6. Xperia Z2 anda akan reboot secara otomatis dan anda sudah berhasil menginstall recovery.
Selamat Sony Xperia Z2 anda sudah menggunakan Android Marshmallow dan sudah rooted + install recovery. Bagaimana? Sangat mudah bukan. Jika anda hanya melihat saja pasti akan terasa sangat sulit, tetapi jika anda sudah mencoba nya pasti akan terasa sangat mudah.
Jika ada tahap yang belum anda paham, jangan malu untuk bertanya. Karena jika anda malu bisa-bisa terjadi hal yang tidak kita inginkan.

Keeping your computer software uptodate is the single most important task for protecting your system. Ubuntu can alert you to pending updates, and also be configured to apply updates automatically. Security updates for Ubuntu are announced via Ubuntu Security Notices (USNs).
Now how to update Ubuntu-12.04 Desktop edition.
By default, users are notified daily for security updates and weekly for non-security updates. How Ubuntu alerts you as well as configuring your system to install updates automatically can be setup within Update Manager. You can access Update Manager anytime by pressing Alt+F2, entering update-manager and pressing Enter. Its settings can be adjusted by pressing the Settings button.
Once Update Manager is open, you can review and select pending updates as well as check for new updates. Simply press the Install Updates button to upgrade the selected packages to the updated version.You can also update through terminal by giving this command.
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade OR sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
How to update & upgrade Ubuntu-12.04 server edition.
If the update-notifier-common package is installed, Ubuntu will alert you about pending updates via the message of the day (motd) upon console or remote login.
After logging in, you can check for and apply new updates with:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
When performing an update, first review what apt is going to do, then confirm that you want to apply the updates (this is particularly true when running the development release).

The "stock" version of libreoffice that comes with ubuntu 12.04 is version 3.5 and Ubuntu 14.04 is 4.2.8.2. The commands below will install a later stable version.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-4 -y
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade -y
Once that is finished, if you open up the Writer program and click Help->About to find out which version you have installed.

My last Software Update didnt go well and something got broken. Afterwards I had a nice little red mark on the top bar on my Desktop saying that the Update was unsuccessful. No matter how many times I tried to re-run the upgrade it didnt work.
sudo apt-get update
Returned that there are is a broken package and I should run apt-get -f install to repair broken packages.
Trying the command as per suggested in the terminal window gave the following result:

Saying that there is no space left on the device made me check my disk partitions.

It showed that there is plenty of space. Looking for further advice on my issue I stumbled upon this post on superb.com. Although the issue was not much related to my problem, I could use the techniques described there.
Using the command
for i in /*; do echo $i; find $i | wc -l; done
What this does is it counts the number of files in the root (/*) directory. Once it finishes (can take some time) run it again on the directory that had most f the files in it. To do so simply change the "/*" part of the code. So for example if your /usr directory contained the most of the files, then it would be
for i in /usr/*; do echo $i; find $i | wc -l; done
I found that for me the /usr directory was overcrowded with files, 786000 to be exact. Most of this was occupied by the /usr/src sub-directory. After some more searching and research, turns out this holds the different kernel header files.
Since it is not advised to manually remove these files, I checked quickly what kernel Im using, just to know what to leave intact.

You can open the synaptic manager either from the Dash (Windows button) or with
sudo synaptic
After this, the error message was gone, my kernel wasnt damaged and had been updated successfully.

The stability gained from removing MediaTomb and disabling the screen saver is short lived. So Boinc is going to have to go. Although I suspect Unity is the real culprit. Ive seen some reports that 11.10 Beta 2 is quite good. I might just go a head and install that. Or I could ditch Unity completely. Set up the Gnome 3 PPA and install Gnome Shell/Gnome 3. Alternatively I could go with KDE or LXDE.
I could of course simply ditch Ubuntu and opt for Fedora or Debian. I mean its not like Im a total newbie dependant on Canonical doing everything for me. Ive had bad experiences with distros in the past that used RPMs. So Debian might be more up my street. It is after all what Ubuntu is based on.
