Kenapa tutorial ini gak ada gambar/sceenshotnya? Karena kalo ada ssnya nanti banyak yg gak baca cuma langsung copas setingan, padahal kalo beda spek, setingan juga akan beda, tiap game juga bisa beda untuk mendapatkan hasil terbaik.

part 1, basic configuration
plugin(config==>plugin/bios selector)
1.GS
untuk gs, sebaiknya pilih Gsdx, karena yg paling kompatibel. Terus pilih sse sesuai kemampuan processor , semakin besar sse, semakin baik. Jika bisa pilih sse4,1
SPECK:
SSE4.1 supporting CPUs: Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn series (E7xxx,E8xxx and Q9xxx models) Intel Corei5, Intel Corei7
untuk renderer:
pilih direct3d9(hardware) jika vga cuma suport directx9. Pilih direct3d10/11(hardware) jika vga sudah suport directx10/11. Directx10/11 cuma bisa dipake di vista/ 7. kalo vga sudah suport dx11, maka dx10 gak kelihatan, langsung pake dx11.
Trus pilih �or use original ps2 resolution�, check native resolution
yg lain default aja
2.PAD
pilih lilypad
settingannya pada tab general, check �allow binding multuple ps2 controls to one pc control� biar bisa make joystick sekaligus keyboard. Trus setting aja pada controlnya pada tab pad 1 dan pad 2.
3.CDVD
pilih linuz iso
plugin ini juga bisa compress iso biar jadi kecil. Kalo mau compress, pake yg .BZ. Kalo gak dicompress juga gak papa
4.untuk setingan lain default aja
emulation setting(config==>emulation setting)
saat ini cukup pake setingan default aja. Yg penting game jalan dulu.
Jangan lupa seting memory cardnya(config==>memory cards)
pada slot 1 dan 2, create==> pilih yg 8mb
buat jalanin game, pilih menu CDVD, pilih �iso�, trus �iso selector� ==> browse, pilih iso dari game yg mau dimainkan. Trus klik menu �system� ==> �boot cdvd(fast)�
game kurang dari 60fps? Masuk ke part 2
game bisa stabil 60 fps? langsung ke part3
part 2, Speedhack
tujuan dari speedhack adalah menambah fps untuk yg pcya belum kuat. Kalo sudah dapat 60fps (ntsc) ato 50 fps (pal), gak perlu speedhack.
Buat setinganya, pilih �emulation setting� ? speedhacks.
Pertama2 pilih aja yg ada tulisan (recommended)nya. Kalo belum dapat 60fps, check �mvu block hack�.
Kalo masih belum juga, naikan satu per satu ee cycle rate dan vu cycle stealing. Urutannya ee cyclerate 2(33%) , klo masih belum vu cycle stealing 1(mild), vucs 2(moderate), eec 3 (50%), vucs 3(maximum). Perlu diperhatikan disini vu cycle stealing kadang mengakibatkan game terasa lebih lambat tapi fpsnya tinggi. Kalo ini terjadi, vcus perlu diturunkan karena cuma mengganggu saja.
Bisa juga dicheck �mvu min/max hack� kalo masih kurang.
Ingat, kalo setelah menggunakan salah satu speedhack, game jadi tambah lambat, segera nonaktifkan speedhack tersebut.

Pada �emulation setting� tab GS, pilih constant skipping. Gambarnya bisa jadi agak error tapi. Angkanya feeling aja, ane gak pernah pake soalnya

part 3, Scaling
speed udah stabil 60 fps tapi gambar jelek? Itu karena setingan di atas masih menggunakan native resolution.
Pada setting plugin GS, coba uncheck native resolution. Pilih scaling 2x. Kalo masih kuat, naikin terus sampe fps turun. Bisa juga mengisikan manual, pilih scaling 1x, biasanya game ps2 menggunakan resolusi 500x500, berbeda tiap gamenya.
Gunakan scaling tertinggi yg masih mendapatkan 60 fps digame.
Kalo gambar bergetar, set interlacing jadi blend bff, ato yg lain, coba satu2 digame dengan pencet F5.
Sebenarnya masih ada beberapa setingan yg disembunyikan oleh developer pcsx2. Karena ini nubie guide, jadi gak usah dibahas, bikin tambah bingung aja.
Kalo pingin gambar bagus, tapi speed kurang dikit (fps 50an) coba kembali ke part2 buat atur ulang speedhack

Ubuntu 9 10 First Impressions
My first impression of Ubuntu 9.10? A whole lot of people are interested. My first few attempts to download the ISO file resulted in a corrupted ISO. After waiting a few days for the traffic to calm down, I downloaded new ISOs and they work fine.
So far Ive only just finished the initial installation on my Dell M1330n laptop. Since I want to take advantage of the new ext4 file system this is a clean install. To get all my applications installed and running Ive created a script based on this How To from Ubuntu Forums. Personally I feel strong command line scripting is one of the greatest strengths of Linux. It just makes migrating to a new system so easy.
My laptop is equiped with an SSD. Which is why ext4 is so important to me. So far as I can work out ext4 has supposedly been optimised to work better with SSDs. Boot times are fast. Although Im not sure if they are a massive improvement on 9.04 which was already very fast at boot time on my laptop.
Speaking of impressive boot-ups! The little animation that appears where the grub menu would normally appear is awesome. If that is the effect using Grub2 has on the overall polish to the OS then Canonical and the Ubuntu devs made an excellent choice here. It makes the OS feel like some sat down and made an effort to polish the final product rather than just make it work.
The new login screen is pretty cool. It functions very smoothly indeed. It was also a bit of a surprise. I cant remember anybody mentioning anything like that would be there. The new functionality (that Ive seen so far) is purely cosmetic. However good looking OS that operates smoothly does make using PCs less stressful and irritating. Its reasuring to know that Canonical and the rest if the Ubuntu development team understands little tweaks can make a huge difference to the user experience. The fade to the desktop is very cool. Windows 7 does the same sort of thing. But over all I think Ubuntu does it better with the initial animated logo at the very start, through the updated boot screen to the very smooth new log-in screen, to the desktop. The whole thing just feels more polished than Windows 7.
The wider selection of desktop backgrounds and themes is also a welcome addition. Although I do get the feeling some of the wallpapers were grabbed off the web at random at the last minute. For some reason they just dont seem to fit with the prodominantly dark brown earthy window themes. Just five more minutes of effort could have avoided that. But its easily fixed.
A big dissapointment was the restricted drivers manager. For some reason it just doesnt seem to work. I had to install my Nvidia drivers from Synaptic manually. Something for Canonical to work on for 10.04.
My next task is to migrate all of my personal data back to my laptop. Which wont be too hard as I dont keep much on the laptop anyway.

Okay so Ive just installed Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) to my desktop. Its not going great.
The first attempt was an "in place upgrade". The reasoning behind this was simple. I had a lot of notes in Tomboy Notes that I didnt want to lose. Previous experience has taught me that Tomboy Notes doesnt deal with upgrades well. However Ubuntu One has a Tomboy Notes synchronisation feature. So the reasoning was simple. Do an inplace upgrade. Upload my notes. Do a clean install later if I need to.
After the in-place upgrade was done I noticed the PC was very unresponsive. minutes pass by while I wait for the top panel menus to respond. I dont know what the issue is. But the 32-bit version running on my laptop doesnt suffer from this problem. But hey! No problem. I thought Id just do a clean install. Same problem!
Now admittedly I did preserve my home directory. So perhaps theres some sort of conflict with my old settings. So my next plan of action is to wipe the system clean and start completely fresh. If that doesnt work Ill install the 32-bit version. Perhaps the 64-bit copy is experiencing issues? Who knows.
Its not all bad though. I have an SLI setup. Previously this would mean Id have to use the text based installer. But this time the standard live CD handled my dual graphics cards with no issues. The installer can even deal with RAID arrays like Nvidia Stripe. It will even offer to install Ubuntu to the RAID array.
Considering very little seems to have changed on the desktop, RAID and SLI support in the installer would suggest all the big changes (if there are any) in Ubuntu 9.10 have taken place under the hood.
Edit 08-11-2009: As I suspected some settings from my previous installation were causing issues. With a 100% fresh install everything seems to be working fine. My advice is, do a 100% completely fresh install. Remember to back up your /home directory first and anything else you dont want to lose.

There is a bug in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic with the default /etc/X11/xorg.conf involving Nvidia. If you try running kdesu nvidia-settings or gksu nvidia-settings, then try to save with "Save to x confguration file" button, but receive the error:
Failed to parse existing X config file /etc/X11/xorg.confI found the problem by running:
sudo nvidia-settings 2>/dev/nullMy default /etc/X11/xorg.conf looks like this:
VALIDATION ERROR: Data incomplete in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
Undefined Device "(null)" referenced by Screen "Default Screen".

all you need to do to resolved this just simply upgrade your samba
*update=contact the server to check all the package are sync with the server
upgrade=make sure all package version are latest and up to date

Actually Im writing this paragraph two months later but this time, Ive ordered my CDs from Canonical and then after using the OS for 1 month, now Im writing my views here about the OS...
So, Ive installed Ubuntu 9.10, codenamed Karmic Koala a month ago, I was expecting more from Linux and Ubuntu... Because Ubuntu has rated No. 1 Desktop Operating System for last two years... Actually there is no problem while using the UBUNTU LINUX 9.10 but about some installation or driver problems, Im not satisfied that much with the system... UBUNTU has everything essential for any perfect Desktop OS but some small problems are there or its only critical method of installation than Windows applications.... But overall the new UBUNTU LINUX 9.10 has many more new and improved features than Windows and other Desktop OS.... Download UBUNTU for your PC from here........

Today I rolled back my distro from Ubuntu 13.04 to 12.04. This is because I was sick of all the stability/general-problems with Compiz, and I know they worked perfectly in 12.04. However this meant that my svn version was incompatible with all the code I had previously checked out. Rather than re-check out all the repos again, it is better to just upgrade svn as no doubt it has some new features/fixes as well.
If you are using Ubuntu 14.04, then ignore this tutorial.
Steps
Install this SVN PPA and upgrade (assuming you have already installed the subversion package).
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:svn/ppa -y
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
For those running RabbitVCS. I highly recommend that you reboot at this point as the nautilus extension would not work for me until I did this (even after performing a killall nautilus). If it still does not work, try performing these:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libsvn_client-1.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libsvn_client-1.so.1 /usr/lib/
sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpython2.7.so.1.0 /usr/lib/
sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpython2.7.so.1 /usr/lib/
It is working for me now after performing these, but as I did not try rebooting until afterwards, I am not sure if all/any of them are actually necessary.sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libsvn_client-1.so.1 /usr/lib/
sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpython2.7.so.1.0 /usr/lib/
