Try Pool Mining
Try Pool Mining
After a few successfully blocks on my own, I decided to switch over to pool mining. I just was not seeing any returns on solo mining. It had been over a month since my last block....

etherchain.org is a site that allows you explorer the entire block chain. You can see how many blocks you have mined, and transactions sent and received.
The first step in pool mining is to pick a pool you want to join. There are a lot of pools out there and the etherminig subreddit has some great information. I went with etherite.com because it currently has no fees and is relatively new pool.
Then you need to download stratum client to work with the pool. A stratum client is more efficient in way it receives works from the pool, than the traditional clien geth. I downloaded and configured the stratum-proxy on one of my nodes.
The download can be found here. http://ethpool.org/downloads/eth-proxy.zip. The setup instructions can be found here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200891
