Ubisoft Persiapkan Film Live Action Keren untuk Ghost Recon Wildlands

Ubisoft bisa dibilang sebagai salah satu publisher yang memiliki cara ampuh untuk menaikkan game-game yang akan mereka keluarkan. Selain beragam video trailer, gameplay, dan video cinematic lainnya Ubisoft juga terkadang membuat film pendek live-action sebagai media promosi mereka. Bila tahun kemarin Ubisoft telah bekerja sama dengan 4 youtuber terkenal seperti Corridor Digital dan Rocket Jump  untuk membuat film pendek mereka sendiri mengenai game MMO-Shooter mereka Tom Clancy�s: The Division. Tahun ini Ubisoft mempersiapkan sesuatu yang lebih �besar� untuk game Tom Clancy�s terbaru mereka, Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Film live-action yang berjudul �War Within the Cartel� ini akan bercerita mengenai  latar belakang dari Ghost Recon Wildlands yang berfokus pada kartel narkoba di Santa Blanca yang dipimpin oleh El Sue�o. Dimana setelah terjadi penyerangan terhadap markas mereka, El Sue�o yang didampingi oleh para pimpinan lainnya di bawahnya yaitu Kepala Keamanan � El Muro, Kepala Produksi � El Yayo, Kepala Operasi � Nidia Flores dan Kepala Propaganda � El Cardenal berkumpul untuk mencari pengkhianat yang telah membocorkan bisnis kotor mereka.

�War Within the Cartel� ini bisa dibilang merupakan epilog dari Ghost Recon Wildlands dimana setelah kejadian penyerangan markas El Sue�o yang mengakibatkan terkuaknya jaringan kartel narkoba tersebut, maka dipanggil-lah tim Pasukan Khusus �Ghost� yang bertugas untuk melumpuhkan kartel raksasa tersebut. Film pendek ini sendiri dibuat oleh Studio Legion of Creatives yang berbasis di Los Angeles. Dan akan disutradarai oleh sutradara film seri The Walking Dead � Avi Youabian dan diproduseri oleh Roberto Orci yang pernah memegang The Amazing Spiderman dan Star Trek.

Film pendek yang nantinya akan berdurasi 30 menit tersebut rencananya akan dirilis pada 16 Februari 2017 mendatang lewat Channel Twitch Ubisoft yang kemudian akan didistribusikan lewat Amazon Prime. Kamu juga bahkan bisa memesan Ubisoft untuk mengingatkanmu ketika film pendek ini akan ditayangkan, serta kamu juga bisa mendaftar untuk Open Beta apabila kamu ingin mencobanya langsung gamenya nanti. Tom Clancy�s Ghost Recon Wildlands sendiri akan dirilis pada 7 Maret 2017 nanti untuk Xbox One, Playstation 4, dan tentunya PC. Terlihat cukup menjanjikan?
