Ubuntu 12 04 LTS surprisingly amazing
After having tested Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for a couple of days I can only say that I am positively surprised. It runs smoothly and is very responsive, stable and boots quickly. If you ask me, Ubuntu was never so much fun. I mean, of course, since its a LTS there arent that many innovations but the new HUD-features are cool and for the first time I am really getting a better grasp on all those keyboard shortcut thanks to the overview that pops up when you hold the Super key for a while. I also like that the Launcher modifies its background color in order to fit your wallpaper and all those other little tweaks. I am seriously considering installing Ubuntu on my MacBook Pro. I will however do some research first. As you probably know, Ubuntu usually uses up a little more battery than most OS, maybe I am going to test it on my Netbook...
