Hey guys,
A lot of you guys are probably wondering about the operating system we use on the netbooks. I know Ive had students come to me and ask, "What is Ubuntu?" or "Why do we use it?". Well, the adjective "ubuntu" actually originates from the African Language. It literally means "humanity to others". Archbishop Desmond Tutu says in his book, "A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others...". The AP Psychology book defines Ubuntu as human bonds. Well, now you might be wondering what does this have to do with the netbooks.
