Audi R8 TDI Le Mans Luxury Cars

Audi is presenting a revolution in the top class – the first 12-cylinder diesel engine in a high-performance roadgoing sports car. The V12 TDI with a displacement of six liters powers a concept car based on the Audi R8. This unit generates a huge 500 hp and 1,000 Newton-meters (737.56 lb-ft) of torque. Audi is writing a new chapter in diesel technology with this power unit. Equipped with the expertise that Audi has built up through its motor sport activities, the R8 TDI Le Mans in Brilliant Red embodies superb road handling, pioneering technology and fascinating design. The V12 TDI is closely related to the engine in the Audi R10, the two-time Le Mans winner – so it catapults the Audi R8 into supercar terrain concerning performance too. It sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 4.2 seconds and its top speed is well over 300 km/h (186.41 mph). The peak torque, reached at only 1,750 rpm, paves the way for effortless acceleration that is unrivaled even at this level.

Remember the V12 diesel-powered Audi R8 concept we saw a couple of months ago? Well even if you don’t, Audi will remind you as the German luxury carmaker will present a slightly modified version of its diesel-study called R8 TDI Le Mans in Geneva today. Slightly modified translates to a Brilliant Red bodywork, and well, that’s about it. As with the Detroit Show concept, the R8 TDI Le Mans is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 diesel engine that generates 500 Hp and a maximum torque figure of 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft). It sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and its top speed is over 300 km/h or 186 mph.

The new V12 TDI belongs to Audis family of V engines but has the ideal included angle for this engine type of 60 degrees between cylinder banks. Its highlights include the new chain drive layout that includes the two newly developed high-pressure pumps for the common rail injection system.

Its sound is as thrilling as youd expect in a sports car of this caliber. For all the subtle smoothness that typifies this design principle, the twelve-cylinder unit is full-bodied and equipped with energetic overtones that make no secret of its performance potential.

Brows!

Everyone uses different brow filling methods - some swear soley by pencils, while others prefer brow powders. You may even prefer a cream product (such as a brown cream liner) or a brow-marker (such asMilani Brow Tint Pen). I love switching up products all of the time, so my brow routine changes often. Im going to go through one way I fill in my brows using both an eyebrow pencil and an eyebrow powder.

Dont feel the need to go run out and purchase a brow powder - Any matte brown eyeshadow similar to your hair color will do. Although we all favor and thrive for eyeshadows with lots of pigment, we dont necessarily look for the same in our brow products because we want our brows to look to look natural. So, finding an inexpensive shadow at the drugstore should be a sinch. And, if you dont own an eyebrow pencil, you can use a brown eyeliner - but dont apply it straight on as it can look too intense for your brows. Scribble on the back of your hand, and run your brush through the product for a more natural look (or you can just lightly rub your brush across the tip of the pencil).

I dont always use both products, but I like combining both because the pencil yields a very precise, clean line, whereas the brow powder gives a softer, more natural diffused line. The result is a very clean and precise brow, yet its not as clean/chiseled as it would be if only a pencil was used.

Here are some of the things you use on/for your eyebrows:

Now for my eye brows!
Im going to make them darker than I usually would so you can see it better! So, starting off, I use one of my favorite eyebrow pencils to draw out the shape I want for my eyebrows and then slightly filling them in.
My eye brow on the left side is drawn in and on the right it is not

Next, using a spoolie, Im just blending the color on my brows making sure it looks natural and not drawn on. Also, making sure my brows are all going one direction.

Here is a before and after! on the left, my eyebrows are not as dark and shaped like my brows on the right. Now there is not much of a difference but thats okay because its suppose to look natural not fake.

Now what is your opinion on your eyebrows? Do you think they make or break you? If they break you then do you fill them in?

How to Beat the Cold

The cold and dark are huge factors in riding this time of year, for this you should ride differently. in the winter there are extra persuasions you should take, without these things could go drastically wrong quickly. Your body is an essential thing to protect. You should do this by using multiple layers, "The first rule of cold-weather riding is to dress in layers" (Pavelka 53). this allows for good moisture-transfer capability so that the sweat can move away from the body. When i whore cloths like this I wouldnt get that sudden chill when first going out, making it more appealing to ride this time of year. Another smart thing to have are lights and reflectors, at this time of year it gets dark very early. This means that you are riding in the dark or on the edge of dark when you are riding. These things allow for safe riding at dark, "Install rear reflectors or carry reflective ankle bands for times when dusk catches you a few minutes from home" (Pavelka 55). I have been out riding many times and been close to cars, just these few things made me more comfortable in that situation.

Would wearing less layers but better material for drawing sweat off work better to keep you warm during the winter or is the solution always layers

More StreetArt In Iasi

Dear friends,

Here I am, back with another post with pictures from Iasi - Romania. During my trip/vacation back home, I had the chance to pick up along the way a few photos of artistic/funny/weird things I have encountered on the street. You have probably seen my post on StreetArt And Other Odd Things - Iasi but here is part 2 ;)
This poster with the Dark Side - you can recognise there Darth Vader from the famous Star Wars, and if you have no clue what that is, you should be ashamed! - I found on Lapusneanu street, next to the coffee shop named Lapusneanu -yes, just like the street! Unfortunately it was after a fence, in a weird position, so this was the best shot I could take... The Keep Calm and Kill The Wall was weirdly placed next to an abstract kinda traditional marking and the picture of Hitler having his brains shot off... with the text Follow Your Leader... quite ironic and I loved how all of them were placed together!
This one reminded me of my childhood... when I used to watch with my sister Cartoon Network and fight over which Powerpuff Girl we are. I wanted to be Blossom and/or Bubbles, even though I loved that Buttercup was all green and fiesty! Again... if you have no ideea of whom I am talking of, probably I am way too old or you are way too young. Either way the truth is that this cartoon helped me learn English ;)
I do not get this sign and I found it all over town... I find it quite interesting but I cannot agree that the soul can be recycled... Are they maybe reffering to Nirvana or something similar? Or are they reffering to that fact that one can change during the course of ones life? What do you think the artist meant for us to believe?
The first one made me think or stories for children and the second one made me think of Banksy ;)))
“The greatest crimes in the world are not committed by people breaking the rules but by people following the rules. Its people who follow orders that drop bombs and massacre villages.”
Banksy, Wall and Piece
If you check my other post you will see the same print but another helmet ;)
And here is the main piece of the day: a fully painted wall :) that looked quite psychedelic. Donty you think so? I could not figure out where it started and where it ended and what was the story but you could see it miles away and it was truly attractive to watch. Weird and twisted and sad at the same time... Just like a piece of jazz in a way...
“Think outside the box, collapse the box, and take a fucking sharp knife to it.”
Banksy, Wall and Piece

“Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you dont come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while theyre having a piss.”
Banksy, Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall
“Imagine a city where graffiti wasnt illegal, a city where everybody could draw whatever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a party where everyone was invited, not just the estate agents and barons of big business. Imagine a city like that and stop leaning against the wall - its wet.”
Banksy, Wall and Piece

Yours truly,

Shadows and Shape

One of the important aspects of photography, and art is general, is shape. One way to emphasize shape is by having a lot of contrast and a plain background (Hedgecoe 178). While setting up to photograph my incense burner, I chose a white background that contrasted well with the dark brown color. As for lighting, I directly followed Hedgecoe with "side lighting" so "outlines can be emphasized further, and internal detail suppressed" (Hedgecoe 178).

Shape is an enclosed space, and the boundaries are other elements of art, like texture, colors and values. Shape is shown in my photo because you can clearly see the outlined shape of the wooden incense burner. You can also see the details of the wood and the designs, which show the textures, values and colors. Due to the side lighting, there is a long shadow cast behind it, which gives the photo more depth and contrast.

What is the most interesting object you could use as a subject?
